People sometimes just do not care. They might be facing certain problems that they are not supposed to normally, but yet they will not consult the physician and get a check up done. As long as you are a bit young, your body can cope with certain maladies due to its inbuilt resistance power. These resistance powers tend to decrease once a person gets older. There are certain noticeable factors in the body as one grows old and the prominent ones are that the skin tends to sag and it is not as taut as when you were young.

This is something common and should not be taken seriously; after all these are parts of aging gracefully. But what about your habits of forgetting things on a regular basis! This might as well mean that you are afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease. It is one thing if you forget a certain task and then remember it later on. This happens to everyone, thanks to their busy schedule. For forgetting a thing and then not remembering about them is a sure sign of Alzheimer’s disease. You should know that this disease is an extremely dangerous one and if not taken care of properly, it can turn out to be fatal.

Though this disease called Alzheimer’s had been identified by a German physician as early as in 1906, there is no sure cure for it. With the advancements of science and technology there are some medications available which can help you to lessen the problems caused by Alzheimer’s but there is no sure fire cure for this malady which generally affects older people. If you are not sure whether you or someone else is affected by Alzheimer’s, there are certain things to look out for. If you feel that you or the other person too is showing these symptoms, you can be sure that you or they are suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

Alzheimer’s disease is a disease that attacks the cells of the brain and damages them irreversibly. The first sign displayed by one suffering from Alzheimer’s is loss of memory. This is not the standard memory loss where a person forgets a thing and remembers about it later on. When you are suffering from Alzheimer’s you tend to forget things and not remember them later on, especially the tasks that you have undertaken recently. Are you facing problems in conducting normal day to day tasks?

It is normal to forget that you had prepared a cup of tea while talking with someone on the phone. Later on you will remember about it. People who are suffering from Alzheimer’s disease will forget the task of preparing that cup of tea - a task that they had performed for years. Yet another sure pointer that someone has got affected with Alzheimer’s disease is their inability to talk properly or ponder and think about the correct word to use during the course of a conversation. These are some of the signs of Alzheimer’s disease.
